Machine Language
(Warren's 2nd solo CD)

There's not much to say about
this album. Not because it's terrible (which is far from the case), but
because it's another instrumental guitar album courtesy of Warren C.
This album diffres drastically
from Warren's first solo project. Whereas "Thanks 2 Frank" was an in-your-face
rock-oriented album, "Machine Language" is very subtle and blended. This
album has almost a new age feel to it. I almost didn't believe it when
I heard that EVERY SINGLE sound on this album was created by a single guitar
rather than any synthesizer keyboards.
If you want great stress-reducing
music to listen to, buy this album. I find myself popping this CD into
the player each time I want to relax or meditate.
Overall, this is just Warren's
Zappa-inspired guitar genius at work and proof that you don't need a set
of keyboards to reproduce any sound you choose. My interpretation on why
this album was called "Machine Language" because his guitar can speak in
almost any musical voice he sees fit to play on it.
I give "Machine Language" a perfect
rating of 10.
